By accessing or using Surfeed ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Your continued use of Surfeed constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Surfeed is an AI-powered X (Twitter) automation platform that helps users discover trending content, generate tweets using artificial intelligence, and publish them to X accounts. The Service includes content discovery tools, AI tweet generation, scheduling, analytics, and autopilot publishing features.
3. Account Registration
To use Surfeed, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Maintain only one account per person
- Promptly update your information if it changes
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@surfeed.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription & Billing
Surfeed offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free — Limited access at no cost
- Pro — $19/month (or $228/year, saving ~21%)
- Max — $39/month (or $468/year, saving ~34%)
Billing terms:
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice.
- If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier after a grace period.
5. Acceptable Use
When using Surfeed, you agree to:
- Comply with X (Twitter) Terms of Service at all times
- Not use the Service for spam, harassment, hate speech, or misleading content
- Not engage in automated mass actions beyond the platform's intended usage limits
- Not share your account credentials with third parties
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
- Not use the Service for any illegal purpose
Surfeed reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion.
6. AI-Generated Content
- Tweets and content analysis are generated using AI (Anthropic Claude).
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is published to your X account.
- Surfeed does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
- You retain full ownership of content published through your X account.
- When using autopilot mode, you acknowledge that content may be published automatically based on your configured preferences and quality thresholds.
7. Third-Party Services
Surfeed integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:
- X (Twitter) API — Publishing tweets, fetching metrics, and account connectivity. Subject to X's Terms of Service.
- Stripe — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Content analysis and tweet generation.
- Google Analytics — Website usage analytics (with cookie consent).
- GitHub API — Public repository discovery for content tools.
- RSS Feeds — Content discovery from public feeds.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of Surfeed is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Surfeed name, logo, branding, and software are the intellectual property of Surfeed and are protected by applicable laws.
- Content you create or publish through Surfeed remains your property.
- You grant Surfeed a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending content to AI for tweet generation).
- Third-party content discovered through tools (GitHub repositories, RSS articles) belongs to their respective owners.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surfeed and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Suspension or termination of your X account by X (Twitter)
- Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss
- Actions taken by third-party services (Stripe, X, etc.)
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
11. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page or by contacting us.
- Surfeed may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
- Any outstanding charges will remain due upon termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Surfeed after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
